Contemporary Christian Recording Artist Johnnie Spencer aka J KEYZ is nothing, but grateful for the musical gifts, and talents that allow him to bring hope, encouragement, and kindness to others through his songs. As a songwriter, musician, singer, and producer, he believes that excellent stewardship is vital in order for him to realize his full potential as an artist. He could not be any happier to be a vessel of GOD to bring honor to GOD through his music, and he is determined to use it in a way that would bring change, comfort, and encouragement to the lives of multiple music lovers all over the world.
The past two years of his music career have proven to be a humbling and exciting experience as he navigates his way through success. While he understands that the music industry can be a very competitive community for most artists, he is all about celebrating what he is truly good at, that is, encouraging others through his exceptional songwriting skills. One of his greatest motivations as an artist is to be able to touch lives by being the bringer of light through dark times as the pandemic continues to affect many communities around the globe.

“GOD knows I’m not here to compete, but only to encourage as well as inspire others through the music I produce and the content I post on my social media,” Johnnie explained. “I can only plant by making the music and water by distributing the music. However, GOD does the increase.”
Part of Johnnie’s inspiration to continue pursuing his dream are his Mother Contessa Spencer and sister Star Spencer. But more than anyone else, he draws great inspiration from his personal relationship with GOD. Out of gratitude, love, and reverence to GOD, he wants to make his music a form of worship. At a time in history when people are looking at the wrong things to strengthen their faith, Johnnie hopes to be instrumental in leading them back to GOD.
In the next 3 to 5 years, Johnnie envisions himself traveling to different regions to promote his songs and impact the lives of many people. He also dreams of working alongside some of the biggest names in the Gospel genre, including Bishop T.D. Jakes, Pastor Steve Furtick, Pastor William Murphy, Pastor William Mcdowell, and Kelontae Gavin, to mention a few.
Johnnie Spencer remains confident about the years ahead of him as he works harder to create songs that will awaken peoples’ minds, hearts, and emotions to help them see the good that can still come out of difficult circumstances. He aspires to see his followers experience significant results after hearing his songs of hope and encouragement.
