Sharing an incident, Cameron Ledford said: “During the pandemic (2020), we faced major inventory issues. Luckily we made a bet in late 2019 that worked out in our favor as we had submitted a large order just before the pandemic started and set us in position to have inventory when no other did. During the pandemic we also had an increase in damages due to the supply chain issues. 80% of our products were arriving damaged. Increasing lead times to our customers on average over 45 days. We swiftly decided to adjust our ordering to allow us to pick up the orders from our suppliers directly to ensure no damages occurred during transit. In doing so, it opened up the opportunity to sell and install nationally.”
Ledford Billiard Supply caters to a client demographic that focuses on mature, family-oriented people in their 40s. In the past year, the company has also recorded astronomical sales and achieved notable milestones. Thus, Cameron Ledford has his sights set on achieving more over the next five years, such as growing the company to have five retail and warehouse locations all over the country to create more supply lines and fulfill more orders. “We see an opportunity to not only innovate the industry but revolutionize the home entertainment industry, and we will make sure to achieve those in the next few years,” Cameron said.
